In the spiritual climate we live in today, the key factors that regulate the precipitation over the negev are rarely, if ever at all, discussed by anyone, anywhere.
Yet, it is religion and associated practices and beliefs that destroyed the verdant plant and precipitation of the former Negev. let's address some of this . . .
The many religious groups around the globe simply do not show the slightest degree of interest in these specific keys to restoring and maintaining the verdant fauna capacity of the Negev, even though they are very plainly laid out for all to see in the record that Moshe' transferred from The Deity to the People whom He choose to occupy this land in their maintaining of the original Mosaic Laws and the basic two natural laws given to the First man, that of complete and full respect to no other than The Deity and to love and selflessly care for all other members of Mankind.
This First Law was lost on the First Man and his mate, whose eyes were diverted to self-aggrandizement at the expense of all the rest of mankind.
Then the People selected to occupy the Negev and Northern sectors of the Land of Israel were pulled together into a forsaken backland where they were separated from distraction by outside forces and an additional set of codes to the First Law given to them to follow for maintaining the natural precipitation of the negev. This set of codes is lengthy and not of particular interest here, except as the codes referred to specific principles of relationship with all others and specifically so regarding the commercial uses of the negev.
Not specified in this codec are the factors of natural precipitation in this land mass as these specific factors are naturally adhered to when the rest of the codec is followed.
These specific factors are the substance of the science regarding precipitation of the negev, and indeed, the precipitation anywhere else upon Planet Earth. The main science is under harvesting of all crops by Man or animal.
In their destruction of the natural Negev precipitation, the select People trusted mere idols to give them more harvest than the precipitation would ever sustain, and thereby they reduced the moisture factor. As if this was not enough, their idol substitution for key maintenance of the precipitation was severely and nearly permanently the cause for the complete dearth of 90%+ of Negev precipitation - the felling of all the forests atop the Negev hills where near all the necessary transpiration that rose into the superheated, moisture-laden Stratosphere to cause the moisture to condense and fall to the surface in routine and fertility-enhancing rains.
In the very limited "greening" of the negev today, not a single operation is focused on restoring this key factor to returning the natural and abundant precipitation to the Negev. Instead, the complete "greening" is based on greed and financial gain, just as when the select People did the very same thing. Instead of focus on the verdant, natural abundance of Stratosphere moisture harvesting by hill top forests, these modern greedy farmers are only focused on miniscule water resources that have such tiny scale to the heavy downpours of natural rains going to waste for millennia above their heads.
This site aims to at least point the way to restoring the verdant, Garden of Eden-like natural state of the negev. It cannot force any of the greedy farmer merchants to end their greed. It cannot force the many who are required to prepare, plant and care for the millions of forest trees that are required to make this ancient land the verdant paradise it naturally is and the ancient Prophet Ezekiel records this land will be restored to before the rest of the world is forced to bend the knee to The returned Deity.
However, the goal is to wake a few. To this end, enjoy the site. Be informed and know that this paradise is just the same awesome Wonder of the world it ever was, except it needs the TLC restoration to the Original Order.

Precipitation in the right amount at the right timing for the weather and plants Sunlight in optimal quantity at the right timing All natural - no artificial means of support necessary
Multi-story surface levels naturally enhance the transpiration from plants that is necessary to condense super heated moisture that passes over in the high stratosphere
Reasonable means to be habitable by those who care for the land in earth-cooled and heated dwellings
Reasonable access to world trade routes
Reasonable protection from greedy neighbors determined to destroy or exploit the enterprise. These qualities of existence are close to those of your own most desirable existence. This is all pie in the sky rhetoric if we want to just let the Negev Question exist in its own obscure place in history, except, there is an ancient record that was made by a very carefully vetted real prophet with many fore-told records coming to be long years after his hand penned them, even some in our day.
He, Ezekiel, records that the Negev is to be restored to Garden of Eden-like abundance during our day. This may at first peek seem absurd in the utmost. However, with underlying knowledge of both the original state of the Negev and why it is now so arid, we quickly know that Ezekiel's record is not speculation at all, and in fact, is one of our days greatest opportunities to take first hand part in fulfilling an ancient prophecy to its fullest extent! The Record that Moshe' wrote about the Negev when the stubborn People he led into the region of the Negev still stands firm today. . . .

None of this is mere speculation. In google Earth we discover that the Negev was partially restored by King Uzziah for his military defense of the Southern reaches of his kingdom. (He's also named "Azariah" by other Hebrew Scripture recorders) Uzziah succeeding, and reigning well in the days of Zechariah, prospers

The Natural Design of the Negev for Easy Farming
The water question is key to all else in the Negev for habitation. The photos in the last section illustrate how only the most infrequent of rains are used to eek out a fairly good life here, but at great cost. 10 For the land H776, whither thou goest in H935 to possess H3423 it, [is] not as the land H776 of Egypt H4714, from whence ye came out H3318, where thou sowedst H2232 thy seed H2233, and wateredst H8248 [it] with thy foot H7272, as a garden H1588 of herbs H3419:
11 But the land H776, whither ye go H5674 to possess H3423 it, [is] a land H776 of hills H2022 and valleys H1237, [and] drinketh H8354 water H4325 of the rain H4306 of heaven H8064:
12 A land H776 which the LORD H3068 thy God H430 careth for H1875: the eyes H5869 of the LORD H3068 thy God H430 [are] always H8548 upon it, from the beginning H7225 of the year H8141 even unto the end H319 of the year H8141
13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken H8085 diligently H8085 unto my commandments H4687 which I command H6680 you this day H3117, to love H157 the LORD H3068 your God H430, and to serve H5647 him with all your heart H3824 and with all your soul H5315,
14 That I will give H5414 [you] the rain H4306 of your land H776 in his due season H6256, the first rain H3138 and the latter rain H4456, that thou mayest gather H622 in thy corn H1715, and thy wine H8492, and thine oil H3323.
15 And I will send H5414 grass H6212 in thy fields H7704 for thy cattle H929, that thou mayest eat H398 and be full H7646.4 and by threatenings

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD H3068 thy God H430 hath brought thee in H935 unto the land H776 whither thou goest H935 to possess H3423 it, that thou shalt put H5414 the blessing H1293 upon mount H2022 Gerizim H1630, and the curse H7045 upon mount H2022 Ebal H5858.
30 [Are] they not on the other side H5676 Jordan H3383, by H310 the way H1870 where the sun H8121 goeth down H3996, in the land H776 of the Canaanites H3669, which dwell H3427 in the champaign H6160 over against H4136 Gilgal H1537, beside H681 the plains H436 of Moreh H4176?
31 For ye shall pass over H5674 Jordan H3383 to go in H935 to possess H3423 the land H776 which the LORD H3068 your God H430 giveth H5414 you, and ye shall possess H3423 it, and dwell H3427 therein.
32 And ye shall observe H8104 to do H6213 all the statutes H2706 and judgments H4941 which I set H5414 before H6440 you this day H3117.
Once that this principle Plan is known, then the reasons that the Negev was turned into its present desert can be examined. They are all of a spiritual nature.
We see today that it is underlying spiritual nature that governs prosperity and the opposite dearth of prosperity. Those people whose spirit is greedy cannot be successful farmers! Instead of wisely governing their lands and nutrient resources to be sure there remains always each year enough to cover next year's crops needs and more for any possible changes for the worse in weather, natural disasters, and other challenges, these spiritually-unstable people assume they are going to have great luck in the years ahead and so they over harvest their lands.
Bad happens!
Then not having the reserves to manage abundance during off years, these spiritually deficit people soon have depleted all their land's resources. In the case of the Negev, in the preceding Plan, The Deity ties the precipitation to their following His agronomy plan. That agronomy plan includes leaving ample crops on the soil each year, then one of every seven years the land is not harvested at all.
The Plan is to assure that the land is maintained fertile for the plants' production to remain high, plus the precipitation to continue. This last is one of the key parts of this Original Plan that was destroyed as the people began practicing the worst precipitation reduction activities possible anywhere! They began tearing down the forests that dotted the tops of the hills and mountains. Those trees literally were the resource of the precipitation!
The super-heated stratosphere atmosphere mass high above the surface is loaded over the Negev with saturation of moisture. It cannot hold more water! But, to release that water requires that the hot water be condensed. Those hill top forests provided exactly the needed cool transpiration that rose on hot Summer days to penetrate through the lower barrier of the hot stratosphere and condense that hot steam till it condensed and fell over the Negev. today, that is all it takes to bring abundant precipitation to the entire area! So, how many hill top forests are being planted in the Negev today?
How many people are actually there and practicing the laws of selfless caring for others and this land? Why not you? You, and you, too?
The infrequent and little precipitation over the Negev is enough seed water to begin tree cultivation in small numbers on the tops of the hills. The abundant sun warmth can be used to filter and pump sea water to these places as well. The soil each tree grows in can be enriched with composted see weed and vegetation that grows in sea water. This takes dedication and time, and people. It is doable. Is there any reason not to?
The sheer magnitude of this may escape the clear vision. But, with this clean source of water that is not salty, as all ground water is and forms far too salty soils for sustained agriculture, this area can easily produce much of the world's food needs.
It may sound really odd, but the harvests this will sustain are much more than any other area. This small intro to restoring the Negev may be lost among all the vast amounts of big ag dissertations, but it may well be worth more than all else combined.
